Anthony Merlaud
LIGHT
Anthony Merlaud starts by practising dance, as an amateur, in choreographic research groups at the universities of Poitiers and Brest. He then graduated a Master of Image and Sound at the University of Brest.
Since 2012, Merlaud has been mainly working on dance pieces while continuing his training by collaborating with lighting designers such as Sylvie Garot, Erik Houllier, Philippe Gladieux, Abigail Folwer and Yves Godin to name a few, leading him to work with artists such as Steven Cohen, François Chaignaud, Nadia Beugré, Danya Hammoud, Fabrice Lambert, Gaël Sesboüé, Latifa Laâbissi.
As a light designer, he worked with François Chaignaud and Nino Laisné (Romances Inciertos), François Chaignaud and Marie- Pierre Brébant (Symphonia Harmoniae Caelestium Revelationum), Mickaël Phelippeau (Pour Ethan, Avec Anastasia), Nadia Beugré (L'Homme rare), Arthur Perole (Ballroom, Nos Corps Vivants), Marta Izquierdo (Imago Go), Enora Boëlle (J'ai écrit une chanson pour Mac Gyver, Moi Canard, On dit pas j'ai crevé), Kevin Jean (Dans le Mile) and Léa Bonnaud (Pistes).
